Over the last few years with ice out and high water the dock has been on shore ~ pulled away from shore ~~ and has had the water to the top of the dock ~~~ Replaced the corner posts that have been broken off by the ice

The Rock Wall

A rock wall was built out of the rock that came from this small area. Would you believe that the volume of rock is estimated to be 50 tons. The rocks took 3 days to move with the aid of steel scaling bars used to pry the larger rocks around.

Bill and Ed on a Boat trip - note the spare motor just in case you needed it

Original Boat House - the spring ice breakup took out the boat house in 1947 - they had a team of horses to pull Margret Cochenours boat out of the boat house just before it colapsed.

The ice piled up on the point that year to the hight of the roof of the cabin.
